GOAT horns!!

Are these good enough guys? They're the goats horns. I tried to make them as realistic as possible :

Once the paint dries i'm gonna glaze them.
Also since im not like an expert on making headpieces, i was thinking that i mught be easier to wrap them up in a turban maybe and have the horns sticking out form the top?!? Much easier....also these horns have wire inside so they're very strong and stand up by themselves.

Turban idea any good??

Goats horns....

Hi guys....so....my boyfriend is helping me do the goats horns and they're looking really good so far, they'll defo be done by monday.

Just needed to know what colours to paint them....i was thinking browinsh/black white like as real life as possible or red???!! Let me know asap people so i can finish and post photos!!

FIRST OUTFITS

Hey Guys... After all the emails yesterday etc, these are the first section of outfits, already styled during the week by Harley, I drew them up this morning onto paper, cheap and easy, already done! What ever people brough in that day can they bring in Monday, i'll also bring extra fabric, belts, rope, safety pins etc! Is this okay with everyone? I know how much everyone liked the styling so it's better to stick with this.

OUTFIT 1 - Cream/white trousers, rope wrapped round the legs, beige fabric wrapped around the waist, scrim/calico wrapped around the waist and up over the shoulder, tied with a belt around the neck and green fabric over and around the head.

OUTFIT 2 - Black trousers, black & dark green fabric wrapped around the waist, along with calico fabric wrapped over the shoulder and round, attached with belts around the middle and over the chest.

OUTFIT 3 - Taking two different part's of the images below, a shirt made into pants, rope wrapped around the legs and bottoms of shirt arms, material/fabric wrapped around the waist. Black fabric drapped over, with belt fastened around the chest.

Layering

Hey this is just an image i found of layering on men and thought it would help the stylists and i think it relates a bit to the style we're going for arabian with a modern twist. obviously the colours aren't right and doesnt go with the red rose theme but i thought the styling of the clothes was relavent.

GOODIE BAGS

Hey Guys, made 10 goodie bags. There A5 size, so they probs wouldn't do up with an A5 lookbook and small bottle of wine, might have to make the look book a little bit smaller, so it fit's properly, sorry about this, only just checked the blog! Hope there okay, i'll bring them in Monday morning! Katieeee xx

TO DO:

First of all I think we need to get the graphics sorted, so that from that we can finalise the invites, the posters, the transfer for the bags, the stickers for the wine and the cover for the lookbook can all be done with the basic design.

GEORGE, TOM & KATIE S:
So for the invites I would say just take what you've got a just push it and make it more contemporary and experimental, bigger and bolder.
Then the posters will have the same basis with different text, and so will the stickers for the wine but with goat's horns on it or something. The cover for the lookbook I think should be pretty simple, with the basic design and maybe the poem on it. Then the transfers for the bags should just be the basic design.

JORDAN & SOPHIA:
The models need to be sorted this weekend preferably by tomorrow, but realistically we need them all done, their names, numbers, email adresses and pictures of them on Monday.

EMILY, SUZI & SAMIRA:
You guys need to do sketches of different ideas for the make up for the first second and third looks...go crazy with it just be experimental. Then you'll need A3 images of the three different looks to show the makeup artists. Hair needs to be sorted, the turbans with hair on them need to be made and ready by Monday, make roughly 4 we won't have them on all the models. Also Samira is going to ask around for make-up artists and look for goat's horns for the final look.

KATIE G, ALEX & ELLIE:
You guys need to make sure that all the styling is done by Monday, if you look at the stuff I did then I think we should take some of those looks forward, because the tutors liked them and everyone in our group agrees on some of them..that saves you doing as much work.
You're also sewing the basic goodybags, drawstring style, they have to fit in an A5 lookbook and a tiny bottle of wine.

HOLLY, AMBER, LOW & ME:
We need to think about lighting go into the hall play around with the lighting and see what we can do with it, and think about other possibilites, even if we decide on sticking to what we've got in the hall. Then we need to decide on a song, I've put some possibilites on the blog, also my boyfriends gonna give me some suggestions tonight, and we need to have it chosen by Monday at the latest so that it can get put on a CD with all the other groups music.
For the actual day of the show we need to make call sheets, and a running order board, so images of all the models, what they're wearing and the order they're going on to have upstairs for the show.
Also there is a show producers meeting tomorrow at 12:30 after history of art. They want music but I don't think we'll have ours so I spoke to Faye today and she said latest Monday.

Hopefully this will organize our group a bit better, because it's all gone tits up!

OUTFIT IDEAS!

Hey Guys!

Right sketched up some ideas for outfits. Alex's are the first one's for the middle section, these outfits will consist of dark, dull colours, blacks etc, using rope, netting, scrim, trousers jackets, shirts and belt. The last 3 are mine (Katie) using white, beige, brown and tan colours along with skirts, rope, trousers, jackets, belts, bags and bed sheets which we can rip up to create the looks.

We went to Southgate today and looked through Charity shops, we found some decent stuff that we could use, things ranging between £5/£15 per item! I know it's expensive but between us it won't cost much, maybe between £5/£10 each!...

Today we bought 3 shirts and a bed sheet from Asda as we didn't want to go ahead and buy clothing from the shops with out everyone else consulting!
